I have now finished both of my Urban Stripe section 2 ropes. The join between the sections wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I did have to pay special attention to matching the patterns. I’ve included two photos to show both sides and their patterns.
How different they look! The black and white rope had the addition of some black with white stripe beads. They are much more subtle than the white with black stripe beads. The golden “snake” one had some gold-lined milky white beads added. They really make it look like the belly of a snake.
A note on flexibility, the more imperfect the beads, the more flexible the rope. At least, that’s what I’ve found so far.
